I am Sophie Marie Arnim, the author of the article on "Underlying mechanisms of helminth and tuberculosis".
Currently I am studying Immunology, M.Sc. at the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg, Germany. I have a bachelors degree in Sustainable Agriculture from University Rhine-Waal, Germany and am currently involved in research about Experimental Cerebral Malaria (ECM) at the Institute for Microbiology and Hospital Hygiene at the medical faculty of Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg.
This course is not the first time was drawn to travel to Uganda. In 2015 a five month internship in the Analytical and Microbiological Food Chemistry Laboratories of the Food Science and Technology Department of Makerere University brought me to Kampala, Uganda for the first time.
